Caraustar SDS Management Program

SafeTec has been selected as Caraustar’s preferred SDS Management system provider, effective immediately. As a preferred vendor, SafeTec is able to extend discounted group pricing to all individual Caraustar facilities. And,because of our master contract with Caraustar’s corporate office, there’s no need for your facility to maintain an individual contract with us.  Getting started is simple and easy!

To get started:

1. Get a Quote: Complete the form to the right to get a quote for your facility or enroll directly. Your SafeTec Account Manager will schedule a brief call to outline the program and provide cost information for the services that you’re interested in.
2. Give us 15 minutes: To introduce our process and capture key information, we’ll schedule a brief kick-off meeting to ensure a seamless and successful transition.
3. We’ll index, convert & upload your safety data sheets: Once we’ve collected your SDSs, we’ll start indexing data and uploading digital files to your new electronic SDS library.
4. Train your team: We’ll provide “train the trainer” training on administrative and end user use of the system.
5. Access your documents online: Once you’re online with SafeTec, you won’t have to maintain binders any longer. Our system allows you to download your SDSs and store them electronically as a back-up or publish an eBinder PDF of your safety data sheets with electronic index.
6. Pricing and invoicing: Pricing is set as a simple, per document fee which includes SafeTec working with your suppliers to obtain the most current SDSs. Package information is available in the solution overview document available on this site to help you get the right fit for your facility.

Although participation is voluntary, all Caraustar locations are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
