SafeTec User Conference Part 2: Boeing Highlights

by Tags: , , ,

At the time of our user conference, Boeing had just started implementing SafeTec systems. Boeing System Architect Peter Mezey showed how collaborating with SafeTec is making chemical management easier, safer and more efficient.

Boeing is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defense, space and security systems. A top U.S. exporter, the company supports airlines and U.S. and allied government customers in more than 90 countries.

“It’s about connecting to information on every level, knowing our risk exposure and what the impact will be when a chemical is banned, for instance. Not only do we need to know how to protect against the chemical itself, we need to know how far up our multi-tiered supply chain that chemical exists. It gets even more complicated when we’re examining vendor-supplied parts.”
